The Nexus Fish Network™ system is an AI-powered platform for automating fish pond management. It helps monitor water quality, automate aeration and feeding, reduce costs, improve fish health, and boost productivity.
This system integrates real-time sensor data with artificial intelligence to make intelligent decisions about pond management, reducing manual labor while increasing yield and efficiency.
Note: This system is designed for fish farmers in Bangladesh and South Asia, with support for species including Pangasius, Tilapia, Carps, Koi, Shingi, Pabda, and Shrimp.

Getting Started
Install all sensors at recommended pond depth (typically 1-1.5 ft below surface).
Connect aerators, feeder, and pump to IoT Controller Box.
Power up and ensure network connectivity (mobile data or Wi-Fi).
Use the app/web dashboard to register your pond:
Pond size & depth
Species stocked
Stocking weight and number
Feed type & FCR
Calibrate sensors through the app.
Ensure all hardware components are properly installed and connected before powering up the system.

Dashboard Overview
Upon login, the dashboard displays:
Live water quality data (DO, temp, pH, ammonia)
Fish biomass & estimated growth
Aerator and feeder status
Weather forecast
Actionable alerts
Historical charts and reports
Dissolved Oxygen 6.2 mg/L
Temperature 28.5°C
pH Level 7.9 pH
Ammonia 0.2 mg/L
The dashboard provides a comprehensive overview of your pond's status with color-coded indicators for quick assessment.
5
Real-Time Monitoring
Real-time data is pulled every 5-10 minutes with color-coded status indicators:
Green zone = Optimal conditions
Yellow zone = Warning conditions
Red zone = Critical conditions
Custom thresholds can be set based on species and season. For example:
DO > 4.5 mg/L for Pangasius
Temperature between 26-32°C for Tilapia
pH between 6.5-8.5 for most species
Critical parameters will trigger immediate alerts and automated responses to prevent fish mortality.
6
Automation Modules
A. Smart Aeration
Turns aerator ON/OFF based on DO, temperature, fish biomass
Adjusts runtime to optimize energy use
Weather-adaptive (e.g., preemptive aeration before rain)
B. Feeding Automation
AI predicts feeding rate by:
Biomass growth
SGR model
Water temperature and fish activity
Manual override available
C. Water Exchange Automation
Triggered when ammonia or pH is out of range
Suggests volume and duration for water exchange
7
Manual Overrides
From the dashboard, you can:
Start/stop aerators, feeders, or pumps manually
Override AI-suggested schedules
Apply emergency protocols
Manual Control Panel
Manual Mode Active
Aerator
Feeder
Water Pump
Manual controls provide flexibility while maintaining the safety protocols of the system.
8
Data Input & Calibration
Manually enter:
Fish stocking data (weight, number, date)
Feed brand & protein %
Water visibility (Secchi disk)
Initial sensor calibration values
Calibration is recommended every 2 weeks or when anomalies are suspected.
Regular calibration ensures accurate readings and optimal system performance.
9
Notifications & Alerts
The system generates various alerts:
Low DO or high ammonia warning
Power failure or aerator malfunction
Daily feed recommendation
Weekly water quality trends
Harvest readiness alerts
Economic projection (costs vs. revenue)
Alerts are delivered via:
Push notifications
SMS messages
Email alerts
In-app notifications
Critical Alert: Low Dissolved Oxygen
DO level at 2.8 mg/L in Pond 1. Aerator activated. Suggested action: Check aerator function and water circulation.
